I called the dealer and they quoted me $87. Is that correct? Is there anywhere else in South Florida I can get a better deal? Thanks

 

It depends on the truck. I know that before 2002 they used at least 2 different ones. My 2001 has a plastic one that just pops into the two rubber hoses and hangs out in space above the drivers side exhaust manifold. Some of them mounted to the side of the throttle body. The one I needed was like $24 from the dealer and the other one was somewhere around $80-100 (don't remember for sure). If you have the one that bolts to the throttle body then I think that is in the right ball park for the dealer.

Thanks guys! It's a 1998 Navigator 5.4. It's the one that bolts to the TB.

 

Yup, the "stealer" charged me $85 for 2001 5.4 mounts on throttle body. Wanted it right away, so didn't have chance to do the ebay thing.
