I recently changed my stock exhaust to dual on a 1999 with a 4.6. The cuts were made after the cats so they are still there.... anyway about 75 miles after the install I get the "service engine soon" light. Advance Auto checks it and it is the 0401 EGR Flow Insufficient.

I'd never had a code before. 100K miles... any help would be great.

I've been searching and think it might be the DPFE???? Can someone post a pic of what this part looks like and where it is on the engine?

On a 99 4.6 it'll be on the left side of the engine, right up by the throttle body with 2 hoses on it running down the the EGR tube ..... sorry no pic but I hope that helps.
