Question 4.6 shake

Hey guys, got a little issue here. Whenever the truck (2002 F150 4x4, Auto) is at idle or when I'm taking off from a stop.. I get a bit of a shake. Kind of like the feel of a misfire. However, I doubt its just a misfire, as it only does the shake in drive. If I idle in N, it's not nearly as bad... Just slight. Oh, yeah, it's got the Service Engine Soon light.

I'm thinking (but hoping not) Motor or tranny mount?

Ideas? Thanks guys.

Semi random thoughts on hte subject. The IAC ports need to be cleaned. The TB elbow should be cleaned. My 97 shook until I had the plugs and wires changed too, how many miles are on the ride?

Go to AutoZone and get them to read codes for you. Then come back here and do a search on those codes.

Dont take the advice of those guys, some of them know what theyre doing, but most of them dont. So just get the codes and come back here before you buy parts.

I have a little bit of shake in my truck as well but only on cold start ups in either reverse or drive until the engine warms up. I had the truck stall out a week ago while making a turn changed the fuel filter since the old one has been on there a while. had the egr valve censor thing that causes the check engine light to come on changed out back in January or roughly 5k miles ago. The truck has 92000 almost 93000 on it with the original plugs still in it I was hoping to get the 100k out of them if Ii have to change them early I will.
