Question not again...

hello, i drive a 97 f150 4.6l with 120k miles. i've had problems with the radiator ever since the truck came to TX from CA. the radiator was replaced in March, when i sprung a giant leak. this was about the forth radiator i have had to install. recently i have smelled antifreeze inside the cab when i run the a/c. i have even noticed steam coming through the vents w/ the a/c on, but that has since stopped. i am constantly checking the fluid levels and the ground for leaks, by i have yet to see any evidence of one. like i said the radiator is practically new, so i don't understand why this is happening. a nice tall beer to whomever can help me figure out what's going on. thanks for your time.

What you described seems like a leaky heater core. I don't see how the smell in the truck has went away, a heater core leak usually just gets worse over time.
Another thing is, if the radiator you replaced went bad because of corrosion, the heater core will probably need to be changed out.

I agree. Smelling coolant through the AC vents is usually a good sign of the heater core going bad.
