It's that time again... For What's that part ?

Okay boys and girls this mystery part sits some place on the front part of the Radiator Support Bracket but 1) What the heck is this part 2) What does it do and last where does this part go? Okay everyone lets see who can"Guess what part that is".....

uuuuuuhhh, I'm glad your a Senior Member?
Some one thought it was the IAT but its on the same bundle of wires used for the front head lights and that stran runs just on the backside of the radiator support brack. Nice guess though...

My guess is the outside temp sensor as well.........

It's obviously some sort of a coolant temp. sensor, look at the deposits on it.

I am not guessing. It is the temp sensor for temp guage in the over head cluster. By the looks of it it is still fine.
