rich on bank 1 & 2 troubleshooting
rich on bank 1 & 2 troubleshooting
A bit over a week ago, I took the simple task of installing an air intake and made a complete disaster.
I have a 03 5.4 2wd f150.
I decided to "be smart" and clean my throttle body and ma sensor at the same time. Well I followed the directions on the throttle body cleaner, sprayed it in the throttle body (I even played it sae and used hal the reccomended amount) and flooded the engine with that crap. For the maf sensor I used awul directions from an idiotic forum I was on before discovering TTW. I used alcohol and a q-tip.......you can imagine the results, I popped the tiny wire that was my maf sensor.
So I learned a 200 dollar lesson, replaced my maf, and changed out 4 of the plugs. I only did 4, because I didn't want to make more mistakes when pulling the fuel rail. I replaced the three forward drivers side plugs the the front passenger side plug.
Well, it runs well, but it's showing the check engine light. I scanned it and pulled the p0175 and p0172 codes, rich on bank one and two.
If it's not blatantly apparent from the rest of the story, I am not too mechanically inclined. I was hoping someone on here may have some insight on where I should begin looking, or if I need professional intervention.
