is the PCV on my 4.6 located back by the battery? I'm still getting a rough idle but no codes.

 

the pcv should be located on the passenger side of your engine under the battery fuse case on top of the valve cover just behind the cap where you put the oil in, thats where mine is on my 1997 ford f150 4.6 V8 it should be a little L shaped valve that just plugs in

 

You'll find one on both valve covers; black plastic, 1/2" black hose to each of them.
