is the fuel filter disconnect 3/8" ???

got a sissor(sp!) type tool from discount and I swear it doesn't fit inside the connector. Oh yeah, it's for an 02 exped 5.4. comments??

does it use a 5/16" or smaller??

I think some have said the scissors don't work as well as the plastic fuel line/air conditioner clamp tools.

About $8.00 at Pep Boys.

I've got the scissor style disconnect tool and the white plastic rail types. 5/16" is the end you want to disconnect the fuel filter connections.

It's 5/16"

I prefer the plastic circular clamp ones over the scissor style tool.

traded the larger sicssor type for a smaller one (5/16") and it did the trick "really swell".
