Changed coils car idles rough

Changed coils car idles rough

Hello,


Hope someone can help me quick I changed my coils today. I also changed the spark plugs also. I did everything I was suppose to. I added anit seize to the sparkplugs and I added di electric grease inside each coil. I placed them on and when i started the car it started very qucik but idles rough and kinda turns off. Unless i hit the gas. Please help.

Thanx Brad but I dont think it might have been than at least I hope not Ill check anyways. I was thinking maybe too much di electric grease in the coil boots

Did you happen to get any of that anti-sieze on the porcelain part of the plug? I happened to be reading a story just a few weeks ago on this very subject. Routine tune-up and ran worse after than before the tune-up. I don't use anti-seize anymore after reading a few articles on the subject. Evidently, the 7-14 ft.lbs. of torque is a dry torque. I torque mine to 10 lbs. (dry). This is a highly debated subject (some say to use it and others don't).

I hope its not that, those spark plugs were a pain in butt to take out. Mostly the last # 2 passenger and # 8 Driver side. Thank for all ur help.
