hey there..... i'm new into the ford business so i don't really know much about ford. but i want to swap an engine for my dad 1989 ford F150. i was wondering is the newer model (1990 and up) F150 engine a direct bolt on to the 1989 F150? If not wat year models are the engine similar and direct bolt on? if you can help i would greatly appreciate it!!

 

Not absolutely sure, but I believe you can pretty much get any Ford small block on the engine mounts. But if you want all the same connectors in all the same spots your best bet, of course, is another '89.
