Are you a very rude individual? Does anyone else think this?

I guess "very" could be debated, depending on your peer group. As for the few initial posts that I bothered to read, I find you to be crass, inept, and illiterate.

If anyone wants to see 'rude' or 'very rude' come on over to http://www.pre-ban.com/forums/index.php?showforum=56 and hold onto your panties. Items of discussion run from women, to vehicles, to guns (it 'is' a gun board) to planned weekend events, boats, encounters with stupid people, etc. good group of guys there, but they don't sugar coat ANYTHING. Again if you think this place or anyone here is 'rude' your grip on reality is not too tight.

DI Water NFW

to yamahonda 41

deionized water is absolutely the worst thing you can put into a cooling system. it wants to deionize all the metals in the cooling jacket. industrial systems always use plactic(pvc/abs) plumbing fo DI systems. if they are using metallic pipe the water is no longer deionized by the time it gets to the operation/work station.

if you haver used it get it out. the radiator will be deionized until it leaks.

No DI water.

I would not use DI water either. Because it is just plain water with no Ions in it. It will start to pull ions from any metal it can find. You might end up with a leak.

Distiled water would be the number 1 choice. There should be no scale and heavy minerals in distiled water. But if you have good drinking water that should work fine too. I have to say I always had problem with GM cars with a lot of sclale. I have never changed the coolant in my 97 f-15o and it runs fine. A 120,000 miles.
