RPMs high on 1989 F150 V8

My 1989 F150 has been idling high and also seems like the RPMs are high also when changing gears. Seems like I'm changing gears sooner. I have put some Fuel Injector & Carborator cleaner in the Gas and ran it all through, but it is still doing it. Any ideas?

Thank You,
Matthew

You've probably got a vacuum leak, the intake gaskets may hae acrack in them or a vacuum hose may be leaking.

Thank you Mike, I'll check it out tomorrow. I'm also going to attempt to change the spark plugs. My truck is at 114k now and I don't think they have ever been changed. Any tips you or someone else may have would be awesome. I'm new to "do-it-your-self" mechanics, and really looking forward to learning how to take better care of my truck.

Thanks,
Mathew
