Question No spark

I have an 1984 F-150 that has lost spark. Any suggestions on where to start? Thanks.

if i can remember back that far...is'nt there a aluminum "box" with wires coming out of it on the inner wheel house..maybe on the firewall somewhere? its about 6 inches square and about 1 inch tall...thats the problem...they fail when they want...sometimes a bag of ice put on it to freeze it will work to get home...find it and change it...zap!

^^ Yeah, what he said, I think it's the ignition module if I remember correctly. I've had to change a few myself. These were prior to Ford stupidly mounting them on the base of the distributor causing them to overheat on a regular basis and leave you stranded. I think there was a big class action lawsuit over that as well at one time.
