It is easy cleaned mine on a 92 model with 5.0 used two cans of carb cleaner . I took it off and removed all of the sensors and cleaned all the parts seprately replaced all the vaccum lines and gasket for the body itself . You might want to pick uo a gasket and the hose before you start mine were in bad shape .
