new plugs/wires/cap/rotor/coil/module... all been replaced...

this thing has no spark... once in a while it will crank over and run for a few minutes then it dies and will not restart, i pull the plug out and try to start it and it wont spark against the block... then 1 in 5 times i try it will, and will start right up...

what else is there to replace? this is like completely random... it started doing it once in a while, progressively got worse, and now its been sitting for 8 months...

someone please help!

 

It's fuel injection so it has a Thick film integrated circuit (TFI) module associated with the distributor.
They often go bad from heat

 

i looked in the haynes and the TFI they describe looks like the ignition module i replaced... i have the one that mounts to the fender, not on the dist., or is this a different part you are talking about?
