Smile EGR Question?

QUESTION TO ALL MY FELLOW FORD USERS.
I HAVE A 99 F150 4X4 AND LIKE ALL OF YOU IM HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY EGR SENSOR I WOULD LIKE TO DISCONECT IT OR BEST OF ALL ELIMINATE IT FOR GOOD BECAUSE MY TRUCK SEES ONLY OFF ROAD. BUT I WOULD LIKE FOR THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NOT TO BE ON ALL THE TIME. I HAVE HERD THAT THERE SOME CHIPS ELIMINATE THIS SENSOR AND IT GIVES YOU BETTER HP IS THAT TRUE ?
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IF THERE IS A WAY TO BYPASS IT OR DISCONECT IT MANUALY INSTED OF HAVING TO BYE THE 300 DOLLAR CHIP

i HOPE WE CAN FIGURE THIS OUT SO WE CAN ALL BENEFIT FORM THIS.

THANKS กกกกก

FIRST OF ALL, lets see if this make any sence to you.
The EGR operation is only operating at cruising speed and light throttle opeining, never under acceleration or wide open throttle unless there is a fault.
You cannot take the system apart without the computer knowing about it unless the program line is made inactive.
Question for you is do you still think you need to have it removed; there is no gain?
Second question, If you just block the port with a gasket and leave all parts on, the CEL lamp will come on but what difference would it make to you in an off roaduse?

THANKS BLUEGRASS

THAT INFORMATION I DIDNT KNOW ABUOT THE EGR FUNCTIONING AT IDEL OR LIGHT THROTTLE

BUT LIKE ALL OF YOU THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON A LOT AND IT ALWAYS PUMPS OUT THE EGR CODES,I HAVE REPLACED THEM SEVRAL TIMES (LIKE TWO TIMES A YEAR )

THE MAINTENENCE TO MY TRUCK IS IMPECABLE BUTHAVIG THAT LIGHT COME ON AND OFF ONE DAY YES THE OTHER NO THAT GIVES ME A HARD TIME THE CODE IS P0401 AND SAYS FLOW INSUFICIENT DETECTED.
RIGHT KNOW WHEN MY TRUCK IS COMPLETLY STOPED AND I FLOOR IT, IT WILL HESITATE FOR A FRACCION OF A SECOND OR COUF'S , AND THEN IT WILL COME OUT WITH FLYING COLORS LIKE IT SHOULD.

BUT A THE VERY START THE THROTTLE RESPONCE IS NOT THAT CRISP.

I LIKE TO PLAY IN THE MUD AND SAND BUT IF IT KEEPS HESETATING OR COUFING ITS GOIN TO GET ME STUCK

WHAT DO I DO ???????????????

Well jose, you have to fix the problem then.
There is an old saying " if you do what you alway did, you will alway get what you always got".
What it means is that what you have been doing to fix it is not the answer. You need to look into other parts of the EGR system for the fault.
The computer tell you it's sick, now you just need a good doctor to make it better.
Cheers.
