Question Best Brake Pads

I've read several threads on different brake pads. Ceramic, Semi-metalic, etc.. There seams to be a lot of pros & cons concerning noise, stopping ability, disc wear at faster rate, etc........
What are some of the experiences that some of you have had with any of the above. I need to new pads and feel confused. I've got a lifted 2000 F150 w/35" BFG's any suggestions or just go Motorcraft again?

First thing.
When asking about brakes you should try asking the questions in the Brakes forum
The better pads are the Ceramic pads. I use the brembo pads with a life time warranty but i seem to go through them about once a year. You get what you pay for.

Just buy a mid priced set and be done with it. I have had mine on for over 25,000 miles and no problem. The total cost was 29.95 for pads and 38 each for the rotors.

I just buy the cheapo albany pads, they come with a lifetime warranty and they work alright for about 10 months then you just takem back and get a brand new set. For a truck like yours they will prolly wear a lot sooner but still stop alright and guaranteed forever. If you dont mind changin them every once in a while its not a bad choice.
