silicone dielectric compound?

silicone dielectric compound?

i got some of this stuff with a set of 8mm spiro plug wires, what am I supposed to use it for, thanks

put it inside the boots on the metal rings.

put it on the plug and the inside of the boots so the boots slides on and seats easy. it will help the boots come off next time also.

Thanks ya'll It was a major P.I.T.A. getting the old wires off to check the plugs.

It also prevents water from getting in and causing corrosion.

Dielectric grease is also a good insulater. It helps prevent carbon tracking and spark leakage.
