coolant leaking

Hello,
I have a 1997 f150 5.4l
I just started my truck this morning and pulled out of garage
shut it off and coolant was leaking from underneath ,
I see it is coming out of a small open hose from fire wall.
I am assuming the hose comes from the heater core?
does this mean my heater core needs replaced ?
Thanks,
Ifishwalleye

Sounds like a leaking heater core.Check the floor board on the passengers side to see if it is wet. Also, turn the heater on high and see if mist or a coolant smell comes from the vents. All signs of a leaking heater core.
