I have a '01 with the 4.6, and 45,500 miles on it. i was on my way home from work and i noticed it making a strange noise out the exhaust (I have true duals so i know it is coming from the right side). When i accelerate the truck shakes pretty, bad both the shifter and the four whel drive selector do. I really have no idea what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like you might have an engine miss on the right side.
