my check engine light will not come on at start up so im scared that if it comes on another time it wont light up? is the only cause of this a burnt bulb? cuz i dont thing that its ever been on too long.. the most is a while back i had it one for like 2 days cuz i have dirty egr ports and a bad tps. but i just noticed it hasnt been coming on recently

 

I just went through this, but I just bought the truck and the guy I bought it from put tape over it. More than likely it is the bulb. Change them all if you are going to change one. It is not fun tearing the cluster out.

 

well i have taken it out til the gauges... i put a white face back ground on there. but how do u get the clear thing out? im assuming htis is how u change the bulb?
