has anybody used these for crossed threads?
I fouled up a spark plug hole and am not goping to heli-coil it. has anybody ever used (or heard of anyone who has) those back-tap tools? I saw them in this month's issue of Pop Hot Rod.

I haven't used them but I'm skeptical... I would try them vertically on a scrap peice of metal and watch them work keeping a close eye on the bottom. Before I ever tried it on my heads where I couldn't see if it droped a shaving.
