Question BIG Sert Question

1998 F150 5.4 4x4 - I have been working on a blown spark plug and I had a question.

BIGsert's websites makes a reference regarding Improved Heads which requires a different part. Does any one know if my model has these heads?

JMC - if you are out there do you have any insight?

The P.I. (Power Improved) heads did not come out until '99.
So you need the non Improved inserts.

Sernabe, how did you make out with your Big-sert kit? I just ordered one to repair a blown plug from cyl. #4 in a 2001 5.4. I researched Helicoils, Time-Sert, and Big-Sert, and decided that I wanted to repair this the best I can, and the Big-Sert looked to be the best repair, other than an aftermarket head...
