2002 f-150 slight tapping on right side of engine how to solve this problem

 

is it ur valves or the lifters? lifters make a similar ticking noise when they wear down. sometimes noise can be from cheap oil...or low oil or noise could be coming from an injector

 

Could it be your PCV valve rattling?

 

hello yes there is a issue with 4.6 litre Romeo 2 valve engines with valve train noise . train noise .theres a tsb from ford on it . possible lifter malfunctions ,missing camshaft spacers ,if that dont fix it its new cyclinder heads to remedy it . good luck
