Ran the scan on my (2001 Ford f-150 5.4 half ton) Truck, cylinder (6) mis-fire code on scan. The first thing I decided to try was swaping a new plug in number (6's) spark plug and during that process I swaped coil (5) with coil (6) and the fuel injectors looked black so I cleaned two of them(5) and (6). I put everything back toghether with a new air filter and cleaned the (MAF) sensor and reset the (ECU)... Now its a ticking timebomb... .. I'm no mister engine so go easy.

What are you saying the results are?
You done to many things at once and don't know now what you have.
The problem with this can be the possiblity of introducing another fault in addition, that can cause great confusion until caught up with.

 

What I'm saying is I think two cylinders are not firing now , I will have more time to actually work out the problems Sunday. I could use useful information. Ok Im stuck with what I did so how can I get on right track.
