5.0 redline??

Where is the redline for the 5.0 in a 91 f150? The tach only goes to 6000 and i'm wondering, so i don't over rev it, where the redline lands for the rpm's.

should be right around 5,000
i couldn't imagine driving a truck 5.0 around there anyway. my 93 mustang (when the motor was stock) completely fell on its face at 5,000 ish and i was just wasting time if i didn't shift.

i'd keep the revs under 4,000 personally.

Your motor is about done pulling by 4500 rpm anyway.
It is cammed with a shorter duration than a car.
This is done to get more low end torque for truck and hauling/pulling use.
