hello i have a 97 f-150 with a 4.6 i bought a 98 police intercepter motor how much power gain and how difficult to put in is it. any help is greatly appreciated

 

non whatsever.. only difference in the inerceptop motors is the computer and the intake tube is larger..... if u put it in ur truck u will loose power unless u keep the same intake manifold. but if u have the computer in it along with the engine yes u will see a gain in performance

 

hey faster150 thanx for your help I was hoping that it was a power gain but i was unsure my 4.6 is knocking and i thought it would be a performance upgrade.
