i currently have 22k miles on my first new vehicle, 03 fx4 5.4 and i change the oil every 3k and try to keep it clean, my question to you guys(and gals...p.c!) is there anyother maintance you would check if you could do it again. i read all these issues which are bound to happen, i just wanna make sure i catch'em before they either get really bad or really expensive. like when should i change tranny fluid ya know? any advice would be appriciated, thanx again

at around 30,000 i would change tranny fluid and filter, transfer fluid, and if you do alot of offroading were water is found i would change diff fluid, i have found that the front is prone to getting water in the diff fliud the rear not so much, change out your feul filter, and air filter if it needs replacing, hope this helps
