is ford crazy?!!!

i just got done replacing my o2 sensors about 15 min ago.wow... ford techs are crazy people.i used a 22mm small wrench about 4-5 inches long. had my trucking running for a while and the pipes were nice and hot... got burns to prove. finally after getting in the cramped tight space (pass. side esspecially) i got them loose. then i just waited for about 1.5 hours for my exhaust too cool... next i unthreaded by hand and got the o2's out of the holes... next came time to unhook them... this was the most difficuld thing i have ever done. i used to rip apart motocross bikes and have them back together faster then it took to unplug these things. what were they thinking when they attached one part to the back of the engine so that you cant get to it if your life depended on it. after about 30 min of laying yes actually laying on my engine with my hand reached back and under as far as i could i finally got them connected to the new o2. dont get me wrong i got the connectors close to each other it ook that long just to move them the 1/2 inch to connect and line up. does anyone else have an easier way to get at the wires and connectors?? or is it always that much fun? i sure hope chicks really do dig scars... i have lots of those

when i changed the ones on my 97 they were about as much fun as yours dont know why they do it like that. maybe so you will want to bring it to a dealer to have them do the work and charge you an outragous price.
