little problem with heat

Hello all, I noticed latley that when the heat is turned up in my truck,('98 4.6l)there is more heat from some settings than others. Turn the setting to defrost or floor the heat is just bairly warm, But turn it to pannel, the heat is normal. The engine is running proper temps all the time. Any suggestions on whats happening, thanks!!

Your thermostat might be stuck open, causing the engine to not warm up enough. I recently had the same issue (heat not getting hot enough) and I replaced the thermostat and it fixed the problem. Thermostat costs less than $10, and takes about 15 minutes to replace.
