Is the engine build date of 01/19/98 accurate as far as the end of the 97/98 engine problems? I have a 1999 F150 4.2 with 56000 miles. I am concerned about the posts that I have been reading about 4.2 engine problems. My engine Build date is 02/15/99. I have had no problems with anything so far.

You have heard all the problems because that is what people come here for. There are way more with out the problems but they are not on here saying " I dont have any problems".

Don't get paranoid, just enjoy your truck and take care of it
