Stock Air Intake vs ??

Look through the messages and didn't see anything

Just a general question
I have a stock Air Intake System with a drop in K&N filter

What would a whole Intake like the Air Force 1 gain me over what i have.

is the stock intake more restrictive.

thanks for the help

any aftermarket air induction system is better than stock..a K&N filter is nice but for all out airflow a complete aftermarket set-up from K&N is better...zap!

I have a drop in K&N, yanked out the silencer tube, and put a piece of 3 inch flexible duct tube between the air box and fender. I also have some 5 inch flexible duct tubing running from air dam up to the inner fender to get some more air up there at speed.

Someday I will connect the two pieces of duct tubing for a ram air type intake.

Not sure how much more power I got over stock, or how much compared to an aftermarket. I know it made a slight difference though.

Kinda wanna get big some mandrel bent exhaust pipe and use that to replace the stock intake elbow to smooth the airflow out.

Just some ideas for you if you dont want to spend 200 bucks on an intake.

Only thing I had to buy was the tubing which was like 10 bucks.
