Question Trufilter

Has anyone heard of or tried a Trufilter? www.trufilter.com/home.htm In short, they are a reusable, billet aluminum oil filter with a 45 micron stainless steel filter media. The filter has a lifetime warranty and they claim to “outperform” paper oil filters.

standard filter I believe has a 20 micron media. 45 microns is relatively big.

There's no real majic in filters.
You want a reasonable filtration to a low micron level, flow capacity that is still reasonable at the change interval (without bypassing) and a no drain back feature.
The motorcraft is fine under normal change intervals.
Amsoil has a high filtration filter, that we considered for race use but due to the very small micron performance, we would have had to put two in parrellel to get sufficient flow at 7800 rpm.
