trouble code p1134
I have solved a few problems by using this site and am hoping to solve another. My check engine light is on so I took my 97 F150 4.2 V6 to Autozone for a free check. Engine trouble code P1134 showed up and they had no idea what is was or how to fix it. I prefer to fix as much as I can with out the high cost of dealer repair. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Somehting wrong with the front Ox sensor signal.
Could be the sensor or the cable/ connection.
Funny they don't know or won't tell you.
There are at least 850 codes in the book with my scanner.
And still all are not listed because they are mfg. specific. for different make vehichles.

A check of the OBDII for 97 show the codes are being changed as production progresses.
This is normal to change the PCM program with updates as time goes on.
There are SAE DTC definitions and mfg DTC definitions.
You won't always fine all codes unless you have the latest listings.
The whole code section from about 1130 to 1160 is mfg dedicated to the OX sensor operation.
Code 130 to 170 are SAE dedicated codes for Ox sensor operation.
