I have a 1992 with a 302 engine that is getting a bit long in the tooth. I am looking at an engine change or rebuild. My question is, If I swap in a 351 what else will I have to change? If I need a new computer, injectors, etc. then I will stick with the 302. But I would really like the additional cubes. A 92 extended cab 4X4 is a heavy truck. Thanks.

 

A lot of pain to change out. PCM, wiring harness, radiator, etc. You could look into a stroker 302, but a good sturdy rebuild with a decent cam would be sufficient.
