i just bought a 86 f150, 4.9 I-6 4 speed, had it for two days, it had been idleing real high, 1500 or so, driving down a 55 mph street, started shaking real bad, stalled out, had trouble starting, barely got it home, so my question is, what is the distributor cap sequence, and any other advice you guys might have, any good parts to help with its aweful mileage, and how well do the clutches usually hold up, first truck and stick, its proll gonna take some abuse, any advice is welcome
