Hey thanks RP,, If things slow down here maybe I can do a little searching myself.

Fuel sender,,hmmmmmmm, what the heck is that? It was running pretty rough this morn. I unhooked the battery and cleared code and it is running normal now, but just affraid till I know what it is.

Anyway, thanks again and hopefully I can nail it down better.

lees, I got the code from the diag on the odometer, dtc9202, fuel system sees right for the way it was running.
I did check the coils and a couple injectors this morning, will have to look into things a little further.. Thanks

Oh, by the way it is a 5.4.

codes on the Odo will not throw the CEL. Get the codes read with a scan tool.

Take my post as a grain of salt in the overall scheme of things here...

I know little to nothing about the codes and was going strictly on what google spit back at me.

RP,
We all know in what area your expertise falls. But hey, even a shot in the dark hits the side of the barn every once in a while.

lees,
Thanks for the info, I will see if I can find time to read the codes tomorrow, bit tired when coming off the 12 hour midnites.

A 9202 code is a dash DTC code that has an indirect relationship to the fuel system.
You ck. eng. lite may or may not be related.
You need to scan the PCM and see what the P code is.

If you disconnected the battery then the code has been erased. You'll have to wait until the light comes on again. If you scan it now, it is possible that you might be able to get a pending code.
