I have a 99 F-150 5.4 litre engine, with 74000 mi, that the headgasket is leaking, and has been for a long time(just a little, now it is a bad leak), but I wasn't smart enough to catch it. The head was replaced at 36075 mi , because of a blown plug. Ford took care of $1600 and I only had to cover $400. Thanks Ford.
My brother has the identical vehicle, and his leaking head has been fixed 3 times. My question is " does anyone think ford can fix this problem" and "what year did this problem get taken care of? I would appreciate some input
