Question Volant Intakes questions

Can anybody tell me what they think of volant cold air systems. Are they better than an open air box K&N filter.

I'd like to get something for my 02 F-150 with the 4.6L
Need some more Jam in the GO pedal.

I'm not too fimiliar with Volant, or K&N, but I can say most people on here use....Airaid, Airforce One, & K&N.

TP claims that the Airforce One yields better performance increases for the new F-150s, I'm not sure about the 02's.

I'm sure any of the mentioned Intake Kits will be better than stock.

What is better for performance. An open air filter or a closed box type? It seems like K&N show mostly open systems.
