code p1207 or p1507........i forgot
Code 1507 is idle air control (IAC)
There is a MIL 1207 that is equal to a P0725 that is discribed as engine speed input malfunction.
This would suggest the crank position sensor, wiring etc. as the only way the PCM can detect the engine speed.

From MotorCraft's site:
The Idle Air Control (IAC) solenoid is checked electrically for open and shorts (P1504 or P0511) and is functionally checked by monitoring the closed loop idle speed correction required to maintain the desired idle rpm. If the proper idle rpm cannot be maintained and the system has a high rpm (+100) or low rpm error (-200) greater than the malfunction threshold, an IAC malfunction is indicated. (P1506 or P0507, P1507or P0506)
IAC Check Operation:
DTCs P1504/P0511 (opens/shorts)
P1506/P0507 (functional - overspeed)
P1507/P0506 (functional - underspeed)
Monitor execution once per driving cycle
Sensors OK
Monitoring Duration 30 seconds
You have a condition where the IAC can't maintain the idle speed required. This could due to the IAC not actuating, the actuation not producing more airflow, an engine malfunction that prevents idle speed, or your transmission.
You didn't mention the idle quality. Does it idle well. Does the idle kick right back to normal if you give it gas. How does it feel when the light comes on?
If you engine runs fine, it just gets lugged down, a good guess is the transmission is pulling it down with the TCC. Does the truck pull forward hard when the idle gets pulled down? Does it ever happen in neutral or park?

reply sorry i have been sick with the flu
it runs fine after warming up. sometimes when i crank it it has no idle and it dies but after it warms up it is fine other times it is normal. it appears that after warming up all is normal it is when it first cranks for the day and it is cold outside.
