blower pully install

I am trying to change the lower blower pully, but I am having trouble trying to figure out how to remove the old one. Do I need a special tool? Any tips?

What vehicle are you attempting to change the pulley on?
Are you talking about the crankshaft pulley?

pulley puller makes it easiest. best bet go to some car shop see if they do performance work they should have one. shouldnt take long to put it on. most places charge abour 50 bucks for a pulley change

The "lower" pulley which would be the crank pulley on both the Cobra and the Lightning does NOT require a puller to remove.Any aftermarket pulley will come with removal and installation instructions.
There is only one pulley on the Eaton blowers used on Ford SVT vehicles and it DOES require a special puller.
They are designed to exert force evenly on the rear of the pulley during removal, and on the front during installation. Attempt to use a typical finger type puller and you will definately have serious problems.....I have changed a bunch on both the Lightnings and the Cobras...
