Not running the same
I just changed the tranny fluid and filter in my 1996 s-10 blazer also made sure to get the old seal out and now when I shift into OD it feels like a brake is on, it drives better in the lower gears (better to worse 1,2,3,D,OD). The fluid is up and everything else looks good . There is no light or anything stating any problems, anybody got any ideas.

1: You will find better GM tech help on a GM site.
2: I doubt you have a 5 spd auto.
3: Sounds like you have a power loss problem, not a trans. problem.
4: Did you do ANYTHING else, or just a trans service?
5: Is a brake dragging? How much vacuum are you pulling at a set RPM in the different gears?
