My truck is a 1990 F150 with a 4.9L (300) I6. Will a fan from a V8 fit my truck? It'd be really helpful so I don't have to dish out 80$ for a stinkin new one. The junkyards here in town have plenty of stuff for the 5.0's (302) but thats about all, so I'm hoping that they would fit. I called the Ford dealer in town and they said they have a bunch of different types, but the guy at the radiator shop told me the only difference was the number of fan blades or soemthin like that.
