is cylinder 6 the second one in from the front of the truck on the passenger side, or am i wrong? i guess i should mention that it is a 2001 with the 5.4.

 

The passenger bank is 1-4 front to back. The driver bank is 5-8 front to back. 6 is the next to front on the driver's side.

you don't know how much time and frustration that saved me. the manager at a local autozone told me that it was the second one in on the passenger side. one of my buddies also told me the same thing. so now, my truck is fixed, and running great again. thanks buddy.
