'09 h.p./torq vs.previous years

Anyone know where Ford got the extra h.p and torq on the '09 5.4? New parts or in the computer/tuning?

I think they use direct injection, but don't quote me on that

im pretty sure you wont see direct injection on a ford until the ecoboost comes out.

the hp and torque is the same. previouse years based off 87octane, 09 based off E85
