I was just curious if they made high performance coil packs for the 5.4. It seems to be that everytime I clean my engine or go off roading the number 8 coil pack gets wet and misses like a champ. I have been told to take and rub a little bit of silicone around the seal, but was gonna see if they made high performance coils before i do that. If anyone knows anymore tricks, I would like to hear them. Thanks. Brandon

 

The problem is that water gets into the plug well. I doubt putting different coils in there would help. Your best bet would be to seal it with silicone or some dielectric grease.

 

No, I knew that changein coil packs wouldn't make a difference, I just didn't know if they made a high performance pack. Thanks for the reply though.
