Dies when lights are on

My 93 F150 4.9L Auto runs fine until lights are turned on and then it dies. It will not start with lights on. New Alt and battery and cables.

did you change them because this was happening or has this started since you changed them?

Sounds like a charging problem. Maybe a loose battery cable?

Alternator may still be bad. Just because it's new doesn't mean it works.

Check your starter solenoid and your ground.
