i would recommened a new throttle body. i put a bbk throttle body with a helix power tower spacer and i could fell the difference. as for Exhaust if you do it you should go from the headers back thats what i did. in my truck i have a gms mass air flow senor, bbk throttle body, helix power tower spacer, elecrtic fans, k@n injection kit, pace setter headers, and hypertech. the next thing im playing on doing is new pullys and gears. than when summer comes around i debating a supercharger but i dont know on what kind to run?

I love the response that I got from my aftermarket parts. Look at my sig. for what I have done to my truck.

I was reading in older posts that people claim that they got a few more MPG by going from single pipe to dual Exaust. Is that possible?

Underdrive pullys? Is it worth the time and money? What kind of results do you get?

The pulley kit is about $150 and the install does not take all that long if you have the right tools. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...pulley&x=0&y=0

I noticed a difference in mine right away. I had just gotten my gears done and had done the air intake mod and used the hypertech power programmer III and I could definitely feel from the start a boost in performance. I would recommend one for sure.

Someone on this site has a "Hula Girl" bobble doll on their dash. I think that is an excellent mod and has dual function as a stability indicator and inclinometer.

Any way to tell if a tuner has already been installed? I bought a '01 F150 Supercrew that had already been modified with K&N cold air intake, exhaust and HID headlights, but has no guts. I'd be a little surprised if the prior owner did all that and left the programing stock - but he also might have de-tuned it when he traded it into the dealer I got it from.

F150dad: This post is over 9 years old, most likely these guys won't respond. I would make a new post asking about your tuner, more people will comment on it that way.

I have a 2002 f150 Harley Davidson f150 5.4 supercharged. I have a magnaflow exhaust and soon want to purchase k &n fipk cold air intake. I also am looking for a tuner/programmer. What is the best programmer on the market for maximum results for my truck?

I recommend the gotts mod instead of a "cold air intake" a gotts mod is basicly where you expand the diameter of your intake. keep in mind that 97-03 f150's pull their air from the front drivers fender but a "cold" air intake pulls hot under-hood air so its not really a "cold" air intake. plus the gotts mod cost me $6. there is a thread for the gotts mod on here. hope this helps.
