Question Read this...

Blah blah, skip most of it. Read the bold.

"The F150 Regular Cab full size pick up is available in six models: Styleside (base), XL, and Flareside, in 2WD or 4WD. New for 1998, the F150 comes equipped with the new Twin Forged Short Long Arm suspension and is available with an optional Bi-fuel engine. New optional packages include the Pick Up Box Security Group, Electrical/Cooling Package, STX Package and the Snow Plow Preparation Package (which replaces the Heavy Duty Package from the previous year). The standard 4.2 liter engine has been improved with more horsepower and torque and all engines have a 100,000 mile tune up interval. New safety features include depowered air bags and a passenger side air bag deactivation switch which allows for use with a child seat. "

How would I go about getting a tune up done? Do I really need one? I'm 5k away from 100k, wow. ALSO, when should I replace my spark plugs? My dad says they still have pleant of power, but I want to make sure. Anything else that needs to be done? Thanks.

Ford would like you to bring it to them and get the tune up done (expect a few hundred dollars...they want $389 for my 5.4L V8 but it should be less for yours).

For the most part you could probably do fine with just a spark plug change. What engine do you have? The V6 is a snap, I think the 4.6L is harder, and the 5.4L is not an easy job at all.

4.6L (the sig shows it all) I just did my oil change at 95k, so another one is in place at 100k. We did a radiator flush at 75k I believe. Brakes were done there abouts. Anywho, any other ideas?
