I find many of the new 5.4L engines available for very resonable prices. Can they be made to work in older trucks with the correct tuning or do you have to have one of the new computers to make the 3 valve work? Anyone have any direct experence? I saw a picture of one of the heads open and it appears to be a single cam driving 3 valves.
